They showed them the fishes, helped carrying the trolley up the stairs they also helped me get back the pacifier that my 1 year old threw in the sea. We were a bit hesitant after seeing some of the reviews that you pay for the location and nothing else, but when we went, service was great and food was delicious! Plus the location is definitely perfect. So glad we went!

Excellent seafood experience. You actually pick your fish, they weigh it and charge by weight. People were cleaning fish right next to the water. It has been recently caught. Really relaxing and beautiful setting. I was here about 30 years ago and it used to be all by itself. Now there's a lot of resorts and homes around it. The area has gotten very popular.

Naturally, it depends what you're looking for but as fas as I am concerned this genuine fish taverna is always enjoyable. It's not cheap but nevertheless the service is good and watching Greeks enjoying their food with their animated body language or waiting for the turtle to come up for air is a beautiful, relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Booking a table is advisable. Parking can sometimes be difficult.

The place is genuine Greek fish restaurant. They catch fresh fish and clean it the proper way in front of your eyes. Fish is naturally seasoned by the clear sea water and roasted professionally. Good prices for the amazing food. Highlights the sea turtles and the sunset. Recommended 100%

Yes, it’s a bit on the expensive side — but that’s true for most good fish restaurants in the area (and in Greece in general). Probably my favourite restaurant in the world. It's a stunning setting, watching the turtles and fish swimming whilst you eat, with beautiful views of the sea. The food is exceptional seafood, as fresh as can possibly be. The prawn spaghetti in particular is incredible and we have it at least once every time we come. Small wine list but we tasted a nice local inexpensive wine. At the end of our trip we could say that despite the simplicity, it was authentic and the best food we had in the whole area of Mani.THE BEST REAL FRESH SEAFOOD. it worths a visit if you are visiting Peloponnese no matter where you stay. The food is fresh and delicious. The sea at the tavern's spot is crystal clear and the atmosphere pure and real. ONE LOVE.

I would honestly say it was one of the best meals I ever had. The food and the environment were amazing. We ordered a few starters (octopus, salad, calamari) followed by lobster pasta. I would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area.
You couldn’t get any closer to the sea! Our table was literally right on the edge of the water. It was a great place to take in the sunset. We had a very large party and everyone in our group loves seafood and thought it was amazing! I do not eat seafood so for me it was really all about the location and the atmosphere. I enjoyed sitting there but if you don’t eat fish this is not a good place for you to go.
Decent fish tavern nicely located just by the sea, fresh fish and good products. Service is fast and friendly. Select the fish from the available options. If you are not a connoisseur people are friendly and eager to help. A bit on the pricey side.
